i got a job in des moines iowa. i start coming week. how kinda public transportation does the city offer?my work location is in Urbandale area. is it possible to work n live in iowa without a car at least for a month?

Yes they have the public transportation. Depending upon the route of your daily commutes, you can figure out how helpful the public transportation can be. Go to www.ridedart.com and look at the routes. I can see some routes going in and out of urbandale but it's not that extensive.
