Why r guys sooo very negative when it comes to gay ppl?they are willing (sort of) to accpet lesbians but mention the word GAY and they r very very disgusted. not to mention there are girs who disapprove but it's more often the guys.why?

being in a school which has one of highest gay acceptance in the country.. i'm pretty tolerent now..but it's hard in the beginning... being brought up in the counrty where you refer someone as member of "Blue diamond" to him/her ...gay ppl are laughed at and alienated... it's a hard to accept all tht around... but i guess straight guys and girls both feel akward i nthe beginning...
