Hey rationale and nepal1kta I tried both localfiles and craigslist. Waiting to hear back. In the meantime, wanted to find out if there are Nepali students in the area. No car, so will have to find a place pretty close to campus. Thanks for the help guys.

Have you tried talking to international student adviser there? Sometimes, asking them politely to find out accommodation do pay off. I had requested my adviser and she had got a very good apartment for me within 5 min walking distance from campus. You may try........don't have to lose anything.
