Chhalphal Discussion Series Where words matter! Title: Potential solution to the current political crisis in Nepal Speaker: Pradip Nepal Member of Standing Committee and Spokesperson of CPN(UML) Date: October 14, 2004; THURSDAY Time: 7:15 PM Location: Fireside Room, 1st Floor, Dudley House Harvard University, Cambridge, MA Synopsis: Pradip Nepal will speak about current political crisis and issues plaguing Nepal. He will also express his opinions on possible ways out from the quagmire. Speaker: Pradip Nepal was born in 1954 in Bhojpur. He became active in politics at the age of 17. He studied at Trichandra College in Kathmandu. He held the ministerial positions of Communication from 1995-96, and Health and Water Resources from 2000-01. Today, Pradip Nepal is a member of Standing Committee and Spokesperson of Communist Party of Nepal (United-Marxist-Leninist). He has written extensively on political issues. He has also written stories and novels. Pradip Nepal is regarded as one of the mature politicians of Nepal. Map: ChhalPhal Discussion Series is a regular Nepal-related discussion program held in the Boston area. It usually meets on the last Thursday of each month and as speakers come.
